Valve adapter SV/AV (brass)

Description

The Schwalbe® adapter makes it possible to fill hoses with Sclaverand valves (SV) with pumps or compressors for autovalves (AV).

It allows you to use the much more pressure-stable Sclaverand valves without any problems and still fill your hoses as usual with compressors – which are mostly intended for car valves –. It also ensures that the more sensitive Sclaverand valves cannot be damaged during inflation (e.g. by pumps placed at an angle).

The ribbed side surface enables easy handling. The inserted sealing ring ensures an airtight connection to the Sclaverand valve. The adapter is made of brass and is therefore extremely corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant and durable. The low coefficient of friction of brass makes it easy to screw on and remove. It also weighs slightly less than steel valve adapters.

Contrary to the illustration, only one valve adapter is supplied.

Note: If you use hoses with sclaver valves in combination with rims designed for car valves, we recommend installing a valve reducer on the rim.
