Description
The handrim spacers are part of the Tauwerk® Delight drive wheels and are used to hold handrims with threaded inserts. Each wheel has six holders that are firmly inserted into the rims.
A push rim mount consists of a set of two matching sleeves. These are inserted into the rim from the inside and outside and glued together. From the inside of the rim, the fastening screw for the handrim (M5 thread) is mounted; the screw head disappears completely into the inner sleeve. A spacer with the desired dimension is placed on the outer sleeve to adjust the handrim distance. The spacers are positioned securely and beautifully by means of a collar. Spacers are available separately in different dimensions.
In case of damage to the handrim mountings or if a different colour is desired, these can be removed from the rim (by qualified personnel) and replaced with new ones.
For a set of Tauwerk Delight wheelchair wheels, 12 handrim mountings are required.
The price is the unit price for a set of handrims, consisting of an inner and an outer sleeve.
